The heavier the sea, the greater the challenges
The effectiveness of offshore wind farms is significantly linked to their accessibility. Operations teams must be able to reach the offshore platforms regardless of the state of the sea, so that they can carry out servicing and maintenance. This is where SWATH comes in! The 25-metre wind farm tender, Natalie Bekker, was launched in 2008. A special fender on the bow allows the special ship to transfer people to the offshore platform even in strong winds and with waves up to max. 4.5m. The wind farm tender allows the assembly team to be significantly less dependent on weather conditions, increasing their availability and, in turn, the efficiency of the wind farm.

Calm – even in a storm
Seafaring is indispensable. Swell is not. Life on board can be so much more enjoyable when the boat isn't rolling, which significantly affects passengers' health, enjoyment and comfort. A satisfactory solution was a long time coming, until A&R, pioneers in the field, managed to overrule the sea (and physics) with SWATH technology and create long sought-after calm on board.
